The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实我觉得走平淡温暖路线更好一些，有些迷之玄幻了。
没有多少刻画灾难本体，而将重点放在心理创伤上，以（留在）家园作为手段来治愈家人的伤痛，突出家乡在人们心中无可取替的位置。

矛盾安排得很刻意但还是能把人气得半死，一般人应该不至于同时遇见那么多奇葩亲属然后还不骂出口吧。后面解决方式又是那些人的顿悟，太理想了。全剧最感动的是奶奶那句“做人有时也要任性一点”。
电影嘛确实无法解决问题。全篇确实婆婆最可爱了。
