The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 神怪类恐怖片经典模板式剧情，教科书般的cliché包括但不限于：永远看不清怪物真身的昏暗冷色调画面、永远背负家庭创伤/经历校园暴力的主角、永远选择落单行动的铁头炮灰配角、永远不能干净利落HE的结局。不过尽管是流水线产物，而且还把Wendigo传说改成了传染性病毒设定，但至少道具、特效和storytelling完成度不错，作为工作日晚上的消遣尚算合格。
为什么今年欧美的“恐怖片”都在搞育儿啊？？？？这是什么潮流？？？！！！！！那果然还是亚洲恐怖片灵媒好多了，至少那家的女儿已经工作了……
非常黑暗且压抑，最后一场戏氛围感营造的不错，就是这怪兽就这么简单被女主杀了?还有结尾的意思还有续集，只能期待吧!
老师逃避了父权的压迫，回避了弟弟的遭遇，选择性的救助其他人
怪物还是体现的太少，女主后面和温迪戈对打感觉玩血源一样
导演的审美比较在线，怪物的设定也比较新颖，雾蒙蒙的灰色调画风和小男孩的演技撑起了前半部分，但剧情较弱，结尾也太敷衍了，实属高开低走
有些一般了，恐怖氛围也一般，不过怪物造型还不错
两个小男孩又可爱又可怜，摊上这种事可咋办啊
所有的恐怖和惊吓元素对我来说都是极度过时与无效的，这种好莱坞传统恐怖类型片已经走到墙角了。
故事太过于简单，想表现的创伤后遗症和人的贪婪这两个主题有点脱节...

能很明显看出来导演想表达很多深层次的含义，包括自然的，殖民的，家庭的等等，但所有元素都只是点到为止，就显得没有重点了。小朋友的演技很不错。另外，这个结局太草率了……恐怖氛围也营造🉐比较普通，没有什么惊喜，中规中矩之作

女主太过圣母心，消灭怪兽时候也是战斗力爆表，怪物被消灭的太无声无息，整体就是感觉没讲什么故事吧……
