The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 筆者最欣賞女主角凝望著由奧運冠軍代言的食物，暗示著女主角重新審視自己的人生，但有關部分淺嚐輒止，而電影介乎於劇情片的認真與喜劇的搞笑之間，割裂的風格導致文本的不統一，而喜劇元素又略嫌未去到最盡，而後半段兩位男主角的「玩屎」情節則可有可無，白白浪費了一個具發揮空間有創意的題材。
挺好的故事，就是什么都过了那么一点，就像mcu本来可以恰好但总是过那么一点
除了同是明星被綁架這個大命題外，和原作有任何關係嗎？
