剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。

    前边半个小时是零碎着看完的，所以感受不是很强，后面的部分，感觉慢慢好了。我觉得音乐蛮棒的，灯光运用也恰当好处，在有限场地上，人物的安排、运动都挺好。让我感触的不是所宣扬的人性善，而是人生的世事无常。相遇、离开，得到、失去，一切都变了，一切好像又没有变化。“Something's over, somthing's done, something's missing, something's changed, something's rearranged, something’s strained, something's lost, something's not”，所以我特别喜欢最后一切结束后那一段众人的表演。

    我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。

    2001至2021，世界变了又好像没变。先不说这样的美式主旋律正能量和国内作品的立意高下问题，100分钟的舞台演绎中，完全打破了传统音乐剧的情节和幕次、空间与场景、台词与唱段的界限，让技术完全为艺术表达服务，就很赞！

    调度好厉害。虽然说主题立意远大于故事本身，但一个半小时我还是从头哭到尾。喜欢用圣经交流，加油站默哀，消防员妈妈和凌晨四点做德餐这几个片段！可能因为时长和故事基调，一些问题讨论得浅尝辄止。
