玛吉拿到了顶配埃莱娜的剧本和顶配奥利维亚的演出，但真的没用好，故事处理太混乱了，很可惜。

作为处女作很不错，揭露母职惩罚这一女性共同苦难：奥姨的角色口口声声说自己自私也曾出走但还是回归家庭，这种剧情或者更严重的放父亲们身上只会轻描淡写为浪子回头，这里却成为一生的隐秘伤痕。达妹扮演的年轻妈妈问着像《这个杀手不太冷》一样的问题：人生，是不是一直这么难？没有答案，只能面向大海湿漉漉地接电话开始新的一天（

我觉得挺好的呀，甚至让我在回想《斯宾塞》，虽然是different problems但可能关于一个女人一个母亲还是让女的来创作比较好。）关于“母职”并不是天然就必须属于（适合）女性的探讨。“母亲”有太多种了，但同时“成为”母亲到底有多少来自于她自己，还是来自于别人或者那些她不知道是什么的东西

情绪引导叙事。和前夫吵架那段“我花了那么多力气从那个家跑出来”拔高了整个电影， lost daughter不是被主角扔在家的女儿们，而恰恰是没有被母亲教导过爱的主角本人。结局还蛮突兀，讨论区说是主角的幻象，这个比较能说通，毕竟“不懂爱”的能力很难不代代遗传。（我也非常乐意在电影中看到这样刻画细腻的“不负责”母亲形象）
讲述一位在母职中纠结徘徊的母亲细腻的内心，电影里呈现的小孩子的形象真的太烦了太让人头疼了
压抑的情绪加上悬疑的气氛让人如坐针毡，可能也是母亲内心最真实的刻画。
但作为导演处女作来看，很棒了。
看了几个影评，仍然没怎么看懂…但是配乐超级好，很喜欢。

对生而为母的真实感受描绘毫不避讳——逃避、厌恶、恐惧，这点挺难得的。 看这部片子时，我始终会想起自己一个朋友，也有类似于片中的桥段——“离开”了女儿，逃走了。。。继而好奇二十多年后的她会是怎样的，会不会也要走过一段艰难的自我原谅之路。
希腊旅游劝退片。以及达妹本体是刘海吧，看演员表我都没想到哪个是她…
