The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 人世间美好的情感有很多。亲情是，爱情也是，但除此之外，固执，偏激，懦弱等等，不同情感或性格，都可能在特定情况下为某一特定情绪的爆发做足了铺垫。而这一切，又恰恰是出于爱，最后都会变得温情起来。
