The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 有这个representation是好事，但是（以下剧透）Howie和Charlie那条线交代得让人无法带入。一见钟情时毫无火花，交流过程毫无有意义的共同点，最后的一堆夸赞让我尴尬至极 - 都是一系列很宽泛的欣赏，感觉心思细腻文艺自尊心受挫的Howie在白人救世主的认可里得到了救赎，这真的是一个值得高兴的结局吗？（看了访谈有点改观，里面的挣扎确实是生活在西方社会的亚裔最能共情）

3星半。在时长8分半左右的一场对话戏是兴趣激发点：在冰原上，每一条狗能负重拉100斤，100斤吃完之后，其中一条狗就成了累赘，就要枪毙最差的狗，喂给其它狗吃，所以不要和它们交朋友。最后一条狗也在时长50分钟处没了，没有表现处死狗的戏少了揪心的表现，为啥不留一只狗到最后不得不杀？要不就把杀死最后一只狗的戏做足了也好，可惜了，狗没了导致影片后面乏力不少，元素都有且足就是没用好。全片1.5倍速看完。 2022·3·5 6.6/193 短评54条，无%。【IMDb6.5/3200 】
虽然故事真的好俗套，演员之间也缺少火花且过于做作，但其中某些内容却也很真实，比如对圈内鄙视链、男二对于个人感情的困惑，一些喜剧元素也自然有趣，编剧不愧是脱口秀演员，不要抱太高期待，当成一部小妞爽片看就会很愉快。
