Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.

简单的来说，非常失望。原本是三分的，看到满屏的五星分，就又减了1分。
这也太惨了，人类都征服宇宙了，政治制度、社会形态和格斗办法还在中世纪呢。
绝了，银翼杀手×降临×异星灾变×异形×现代启示录×阿拉伯的劳伦斯×星球大战。一反商业大片狂堆视觉特效和战斗场面的策略，仅靠剪辑和配乐就给人无比伦比的沉浸式体验。汉斯季默有史以来最好的配乐，没有之一！抱着看主题公园式好莱坞大片的期待，结果看到了恢弘磅礴的史诗之作！
《银翼杀手2049》上映采访高司令的时候，他说过自己最喜欢的科幻作品之一是《沙丘》。而当代除了维伦纽瓦，很难想象还有谁更适合将这样一部鸿篇巨制来搬上银幕。这部电影既有庞大的世界观和古典的故事框架，也处处是克制的留白。它完全超越了好莱坞的类型片叙事。它所带来的并非只是震撼的视觉奇观，而是一种只可意会的、科幻的语言。或许这就是Z时代的史诗。诗意而冰冷，模糊而简洁，庞大而神秘，古典又未来。
确实是一个很幼稚的权谋故事，但是在目前低迷的电影市场中，我们太需要这样一部足够电影的电影了。它必须用大银幕来观看，它追求沉浸而非互动，它能给你带来短视频和电视剧所无法做到的共同体验，它重申电影的价值。为了看2D IMAX，只能买周六早八的票，结果全场竟然有二三十个人，令人感动。牛蛙，我命令你立刻开始拍2！赶紧的别拖拉！
😅我知道这个电影很厉害：庞大的世界观、无比用心的服化道，视听盛宴美到失语，演员也都很赞。甚至还有普通话和油纸伞（🥲）……可是，我就是觉得看着很累…很累…150分钟➕我看了不知道多少遍手表，等来最后一句：一切才刚刚开始。
通篇笨重沉闷，看得人精神涣散，到后半部分就开始频繁摸手机
几个月前我对当下这个年代《沙丘》《基地》《三体》等科幻巨著影视化改编的悲观态度就不赘述了。
我觉得整体的故事线没什么高潮 也有可能是看过漫画的原因 但是乙骨的形象 声优老师的演绎都极度满分了！！买成4d场全程挨打的我比任何一个角色都惨

汉斯季默小金人+1，维伦纽瓦封神进度+20%，对原作的取舍很合适，甜茶的表现也比想象好，保罗厄崔迪前半段的纤细感和后段的转变都拿捏到位。原著党满意。
這不就是一大型科幻MV預告，故事太單薄了，當然畫面場面特別好，但除此之外就沒了

导演恨不得把史诗两个字刻在屏幕上，服道化，摄影配乐色彩，场景调度，全部在为此服务，美丽而精致的花瓶。
这个作品似乎不应改编成电影，若非拍不可，不如先拍个剧集再出剧场版，没准一样卖钱。虽然没看原著，但我猜原著之「经典」不在剧情，而是多方面开创类型和想象之先河，时至今日这「先河」早已成旧河，主线又看起来是如此烂俗的英雄旅途，从神话到过去五十年的科幻片中上演过无数遍。更可怕的是，整一部都在讲设定，配角们都如同刚打开游戏必须与之对话的NPC（还有专门补充知识的教学视频）而保罗在故事的公式里似乎连「启程」都未彻底完成。全片都是「启程」的问题则在于，这个阶段里是事情发生在主角身上而非他做出一连串主动行为，保罗的环境铺开了，作为人却没立起来——外星阿拉伯的劳伦斯甚至还未成为劳伦斯。
公元一万年以后，居然还是封建王朝，武器也很原始，打斗动作很初级，重点是两个半小时大多数情节都很沉闷，属实超长预告片！这种无聊的片子吹成史诗级科幻片，看来是捧杀！
《沙丘》或许不是最商业的电影，也不是最文艺的电影，但却是把商业和文艺还有文学凝聚在一起，再次努力推向极致的电
对于零基础观影者非常友好，世界观构建和人物关系交代都铺垫足了，开了个好头，期待后续！
