The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比起宇文家满屏的日本剑戟味，我更喜欢大唐衰败风。
人设显然是抄的盲侠座头市。座头市是日本剑戟片时代的代表人物，拍了数十部，还曾大战独臂刀。几年前就有一部国产电视电影山寨过。
自然温馨家庭，一部人文的艺术品。

非常好，都能闻到汕头咸咸的海风。多来点这种地域风味浓烈的片子吧
不得不说，从电影剪辑镜头来看是部“烂片”。但这又有什么关系呢。（妈妈去找静珊那一幕，两人被衣架隔开的细节很好很喜欢）
拍得挺认真的，就是对这个故事毫无兴趣。谢苗身手不错，就是形象太吃亏了，不帅也不酷。
大场面的调度也过于形式。
潮汕奶奶辈的女人有些是真的很厉害，我实在有感而发，我奶奶当之无愧。初一十五，各种节都要拜老爷祭祀，一年到头来钱纸都要买不少，按我奶奶的话，我们生在这里不拜不过心（安心），因为我妈这个外地媳妇，我奶奶绝对一手操办，是真的很厉害。
故事有点老套了，但是制作很棒，动作场面也很舒服有创意，这个捉刀人…悬赏令…BGM是在致敬老牛仔吗？
可圈可点，还可以拍续集，谢苗怎么就发展成武打明星呢
被评论里有说像《东邪西毒》忽悠来……唉！这评论是男主写的吗？瞎吗！？和《东邪西毒》差着100个《黑猫警长》……好不！！！
片子的色调、镜头和演员就是一味温良的清酒，没有洋酒的华丽和红酒的柔美，但却让人心很暖，能品出浓浓的家乡味，想起很多妈妈们特有的神情。
3.5 瞎子的过去可以再丰满些 虽然故事线简单 但还挺好看的 人走江湖 行侠仗义 瞎子看得比谁都清
能把这么平淡这么生活化的故事，拍得这么好看，真是有惊喜！
之后几个桥段拍得还挺有灵气，像妈妈出门前看小儿子顾店，为儿媳学了几句普通话等等。杭州vlog长过头了点。
剧情极度空洞，连国产片用来塞时长的煽情桥段都没有╮(╯▽╰)╭
有些时候真实不需要太大的美化，真实反而会得到青睐，在商业化时代，人际的没落时代。
谢苗配音（不知道是否是他原声）略微出戏，女主演技堪称灾难
