The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 这对那个“光辉岁月”的南非，是完全必要且正确的。从对自由的孤注一掷，到斯德哥尔摩综合症化的群体共情和高呼自由，不但不是免费，而且付出的代价是一切。无论这个非典型“打劫”银行事件，是不是对南非真有这么重要，至少电影以紧凑的节奏，拍出振聋发聩的激情，让人信服它的重要性。

温和，却呈现出另一种残酷，比血腥的残忍更残酷！自由，是需要付出代价的！

南非种族平等经历了艰苦卓绝的斗争，故事根据真实故事改编，很不错
很燃！编剧和导演带有明显的偏向，把三位MK战士塑造的弱势又强大，暴力又正义！但这是根据真实事件改编的，一分真实四分改编，为自由而战没错，但就真实事件而言，三位主角远没有电影塑造的完美～但凡挟持人质相关的电影，多多少少都会展示斯德哥尔摩症候群，本片也不例外～自由，对普通人，从古至今，都是最贵的！
还是太仁慈，杀几个人质也许还有机会逃出生天
南非也可以拍出这么有格调的电影，一切为了自由！
有些可惜，虽然真实事件改编，但掺水明显多了。前半部分可能基于真实事件，紧张和氛围感都十足。后期逐渐拉胯，如果说部长之女满怀人道主义加的莫名其妙，更奇妙的就是劫匪人质其乐融融相爱相助，瓦解了所有前面塑造的紧张氛围。

黑人主旋律电影就算了吧，黑人统治的下场是什么，对比一下以前的南非就知道了。
