A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
这并不是双雄决斗，甚至算不上罗生门，每个人都并无撒谎地诉说着属于自己的真相，正是那彼此补充而又些微偏差的真相令电影有着别样的魅力。
不愧是雷德利斯科特，把历史吃女人的本质诠释入木三分。不过罗生门似乎没必要，丈夫-妻子的二元叙事就可以了。三个人中至少有一个人需要虚化，德赖弗不必有POV。最后的决斗太喜欢了，看得心惊肉跳。
没想到看到了目前今年华语最佳，心满意足了~
泼辣，厚实，乡土，生猛。以川剧兴衰的视角折射中国近代史，戏剧式的布局与布景更添一层讽谑面纱，三小时笑看历史与记忆荒腔走板。
大自然中一切讲究生物的平衡，而《鬼灭之刃》正是采用了这一法则。在剧情中除了九柱逐个阵亡之外，作者还将画笔转向了主角炭治郎，使其变为了即鬼舞辻无惨之后新任的鬼王，在人类牺牲巨大代价之后将大家心心向往的主角进行转变

借两个骑士之间的决斗，讲述了一个女人与世界的决斗
三重视角拼出了“强奸”这个结构里各方的“共谋”关系。施害者、闺蜜、丈夫、婆婆（放弃发声的受害者）、明知真相却“闭嘴看好戏”的随从小厮，包庇施害者的权势阶层、偏袒施害者的法律法庭、宗教系统…各色人等，都在其中对受害者施加着“二次强奸”。最后一章的女主视角，补完了千百年来历史缺失的女性叙事，也打破和颠覆了男性一统的叙事格局。但是不不不，没有什么“最后”的决斗，哪怕在700年后的今日，性侵受害的女性，依然要被“扒光衣服，脖子套上铁圈，绑在木桩上，接受舆论的炙烤，被活活烧死”，这个结构对女性的压迫远未终止。片子美术、历史还原做得太棒，从服化道到建筑景观，中世纪风貌展露无遗。
4.5 果然看片之前了解的越少越好，expectation太高了。确实是非常有灵魂的，有艺术价值的一部作品
匠气很重 逃不出史诗叙述的企图心 相当另类 十分有趣 但还是有点被审美绊倒的奇观电影
一场决斗，三个视角，罗生门式的故事。从各自的角度来看总是自己有理，但是从全局来看其实都挺无耻的，只有女性是最大的受害者。老雷这次没有再赞美忠诚、勇敢、荣誉，反而是展示中世纪的黑暗，骑士所在乎的不过也还是面子和利益，教会、贵族、议员，几乎所有人都很丑陋，都是这场性侵的共谋者。
鬼医生的设定有点像暮光里的吸血鬼医生，我果然是很吃这类设定😅
现在随便打开一个顺直男用户占大多数的讨论区 看里面对任何一起性侵事件的高赞热评 就会发现这其实也并不完全是一部“中世纪题材”影片 (商业成绩差我能理解 但Jodie Comer里面的表现目前在颁奖季预测里几乎查无此人我不理解)

大失所望。不敢相信雷公居然用自己曾创造无限辉煌的历史题材和女性主题拍出来这样一部电影。
法国罗生门，中世纪#MeToo，史诗片下的女性视角。
最令人窒息的是贵瓣评论区居然有人觉得马达演的角色是好男人
伪罗生门格式记叙的中世纪强奸案；两个男主视角的故事色调阴冷压抑，影片第一抹亮色来自真实视角中玛格丽特照顾庄园、为自己而活的片段；两场强奸戏不露骨但令人窒息；结尾决斗处理得极好，丑陋而粗野一如两个男主的嘴脸；由于观众是现代人视角，和电影里的角色似乎有着不可避免的距离感，一定程度上削弱了主题表达；期待《古驰家族》
如果有女性视角的叙事就叫女权电影的话，那平权还有很长的路要走。
