The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 故事一般般，连姆大叔终于不救援改杀手了，莫妮卡大妈也把青春留在西西里了
前半段飓风大叔，后半段悲情大爷，节奏完全就是两段迥异。其实是可以讲的很好的故事。boss也死的太尴尬了。能看，但不算好。
还有，警察的的侦查力简直像是拿了剧本一样，什么事都看透了，但是电影里又没有展示足够的线索，这种异常的侦查力不符合现实。感觉编剧只是想着怎么把内幕展示给观众，所以用警察的嘴告诉观众内幕，并没有考虑警察可能会有这么强的侦查力吗？
跟小女孩的感情铺垫弱了点,但是这波操作我给满分,整体悬疑性还是很给力的
漫画表现的是人在封闭环境中一步步脱离日常沉沦于疯狂泥沼，黑暗粘稠，所以很好看。真人电影版选择拍成热血激情犯罪公路片，搞得这么光明灿烂，太可惜了
攻壳机动队的大IP始终毁于日本人执念的3D化、以及数十年来一如既往令人作呕的「游戏化」视效，在前半部分似乎致敬经典后，故事居然又变成了讨论（特别）青少年的孤立和受霸凌此类的社会问题，可谓欺世盗名。
老年痴呆杀手因不愿意杀害儿童，一系列反杀中介和雇主，帮联调局清除法律无能为力之人。

英雄迟暮，美人白头！ 看见连姆·尼森 日渐迟缓的动作， 莫妮卡·贝鲁奇 那僵硬的表情，深深的感觉一种沧桑感。剧情苍白，动作场面也不是很火爆。不推荐收藏了。
