The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 童年创伤、温情治愈、鬼怪典籍、除魔卫道。各种元素混搭，各个点面都浅显。整体而言是可惜的，要讲的东西太多了，都显得有些浅显了。神话部分还算可圈可点，但心理创伤部分则就未免过于牵强浅薄了。

片子拍的不错
没有多少刻画灾难本体，而将重点放在心理创伤上，以（留在）家园作为手段来治愈家人的伤痛，突出家乡在人们心中无可取替的位置。
