剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     电影中规中矩，完完全全的中规中矩。对于剧情片并没有过度期待调动情绪的剧情走向，但整部影片内在张力也不足：两国决策层的角逐较量不突出，两个主角小人物在大背景下的抗争也不突出。这个剧本其实还挺好的，小人物在国家之间斡旋的艰难，英国(张伯伦执政背景下)在二战伊始时决策的艰难，可以形成一个很好的嵌套结构，可惜没拍出亮点，甚至没有什么冲突。可能本片唯一比较新颖的地方是提供了一个张伯伦对于战争决策的视角，但是这个视角实在不太吸引人，既然不是架空剧本，有些历史决策不是靠润色就能改变根本性质的。
