The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 从海报上的面具就隐隐看出伊桑霍克的影子是怎么回事。
典型的囚笼困境，主角与反派心理上的猫鼠游戏，导演在形式与剧情上没有刻意耍花，通俗易懂。影片开始将近半小时的铺垫，影片后半个小时迎来了高潮，一气呵成的结局，仅靠台词与镜头交代线索，自行推理。通过情感描述，引领观者更好的深入角色，了解其中更深层次的关系，同时导演在处置细微线索时可以说是相当巧妙，全神贯注时，突然出现的死者几乎令人防不胜防。看似简洁，却能通过种种小细节营造出一种毛骨悚然的感觉。
近期看过最好看的惊悚片。有几个镜头吓得我尖叫了一下。。。小男孩可塑性还挺强，杀人后回学校眼神都不一样了。还有导演如果好好去拍奇异博士2，估计不至于那么难看吧哈哈哈

3.5 完成度比Sinister高，但惊悚度没有达到预期，比IT更加kids-friendly。好在节奏控制得不错，结尾也处理得很好。和《险恶》一起服用效果更佳。

这部电影我最赏识的是不浮躁和用心铺陈节奏和细节 仅有的几处jump scare非常巧妙和克制 这是一部大气的电影
前面略显拖拉，后面还是蛮精彩的，但是无论如何小学生是不可能打败杀人狂魔的，除非在电影里。
