The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 反派人物动机略显老套，但整体剧情流畅，三个篇章各有特色，最后为什么不给其他剑士多一点戏份啊！

东映经典父慈子孝，一小时的时间里塞进这么多剧情感觉还是有点太赶了，反派的动机缺乏逻辑性，但总体剧情把控不错。剧情前期给了小陆够多的伏笔，让人隐约能猜出小陆就是间宫，感觉如果像ea一样做成三部曲会更好一些

拍摄风格很像日剧的一部特摄，挺独特的。飞羽真，伦太郎和贤人三人的三个故事，分别也代表了亲情爱情和救赎，最后深罪的三重奏变成了深爱的四重奏，算是解开了四人的心结。可惜是碍于时长很多东西都需要脑补。最后飞羽真和芽依的对话是真的不错，把飞羽真的神性与人性把握的很好，让这个角色更加丰满了。也算是给saber画上了一个完满的句号吧，以后想见到飞羽真可能就是令和十周年了吧
这是我看到现在为止最好的一部假面骑士外传！！！

总的来说太短了，以至于很多东西要靠脑补，拍成三部曲之类的可能会更好。
比想象中好看，有点像Years and Years的电影版。留给人类的时间确实不多了。
观感意外地很好，延展于TV，以压抑为主基调三线叙事，经费用在了刀刃上，整体令人满意
