剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     确实有被狠狠的打动到，加菲的表演增色很多。个人觉得音乐剧与电影的融合很好，当然因此也能想象到批评者们的矛头一定是指向与音乐对影像的侵占，但全片最艺术化最棒的部分依然是影像化的——游泳池里的五线谱太美了。

    给纽约theatre and theatre junkies的一封情书。central park delacorte theatre, ny theatre workshop，playwrights horizons...全都是戏剧生活里忘不掉的回忆。正值Sondheim老爷子忌日，theatre legends们出来唱Sunday一段，看得直掉眼泪-对我来说，全剧唯一精华。之前workshop出现的作曲家和作家，也都是真实的theatre创作者们。对Jon本人的剧没什么感觉（音乐实在不感冒），这一部TTB也稍显幼稚粗浅。可是贵在真情。Andrew演的Angels in America可作为90年代AIDS事件的补充拓展，那剧是真有深度和灵魂。。

    赞透了！这部歌唱传记片把一个鲜活的奋斗人生如实呈现，主角原创歌曲贯穿主线，歌词配合现实更引起共鸣。全片最贴切写实的是那种面临三十岁到来的彷徨迷惘和即将交稿但有毫无灵感的苦闷，以及又与情侣的烦心事交织一起的复杂情感。最可贵是没有特意的煽情片段，虽然后半段对童年玩伴的回忆时刻是泪光时刻，但却顺理成章。最后主角的结局一句话带过，非常精炼没有废章。
