The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 悬疑开局，后面转为反抗权势。咋一看感觉不错，但细一想，首先反派的做法实在太低级，其次女主自拍这么大的悬疑到后面竟然是无实际意义的……
故事寫得挺扎實的，一看就知道是有大量準備和思考的作品。而且題材貼地、合理，是可以令人刮目的印尼電影。
通过电影增加了对印尼的了解。贫富等级对立的矛盾，用偷拍和上传网络、掩盖真相这些事件来承载，力度显然不够。为艺术作恶的富二代，像过家家一样，不是个合格的反派。
