The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 循规蹈矩的拍摄，平铺直叙的剧情，索然无味，几乎不能带给人任何情绪上的波动。“The Queen Of Soul” Aretha Franklin的生平，包含划时代的艺术生涯，社会层面的卓越贡献，世界范围内的强大影响力，这些都不足以被这部电影表达。非要扣题的话，通篇关于信仰的追述，主题关于尊重的延展，也并不深刻。
前段铺垫偏长，细节交代不明确。需要对Aretha Franklin 生平所有了解的人，可能更容易产生共鸣。很喜欢影片中所有融入的Jazz元素。也为最后，Aretha坚持promote church music所感动。这影片让人思考很多，个人的追求，家庭的束缚，以及爱情婚姻的选择。

剧情简单，其偏要画公仔画出肠当观众弱智，没有了幽默桥段，纯chok ，无聊

艾瑞莎·富兰克林的音乐传记片，詹妮弗·哈德森真实还原了她的那些经典歌曲，虽然情节似曾相识，但最后真人现场版演唱还是相当感人
作为很工整的传记片来说，缺点和优点都很明显，特别是在后半段叙事零散，很多事件被压缩的情况下，Jennifer Hudson也在自己的范围内做到了最好，真的值得奖项肯定。然而影片的高潮竟然是最后AF晚年表演的影象，一下子就明白为什么她代表了一个时代。
流水线模板人物纪录片，看完并没有很清晰的富兰克林的画像出现在脑海里。
