The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 年度歌舞好片，加菲尔德也很适合这个角色，虽然是音乐家的传记片，但是每个人都能从中看到自己的影子。这种年龄焦虑、事业焦虑、同龄人焦虑三管齐下的状态也正是无数人深陷其中的，尝试追求着自己理想的生活方式，但频频精神内耗自我怀疑。
本片的英文名直译过来就是“滴答，滴答……嘣！”这是一部传记歌舞片，讲述的是乔纳森追逐梦想的故事，看得我热血沸腾，热泪盈眶！

Movie of the year. A blessing for any theatre/musical lover or idealist. Story about 90s, Broadway, New York, creativity, love, fear, time, and life. Don’t mind Lin’s rusty directing, the emotions are so raw. R.I.P. Stephen Sondheim, who passed away just after the release of this film. We all have, and will always have a song unsung.

看完还是没有很了解Jonathan Larson
神奇的音乐剧，热血的音乐人。原来成功在“下一次”。
对百老汇几乎没有了解
三星半。不错的改编，某种程度上的元音乐剧电影。有了乔纳森·拉森的音乐剧，才有了电影，而电影讲述的又是音乐剧的起点，两种艺术借助不同的载体从形式到内容各方面完成呼应，好几幕都不乏动容时刻。
加菲演的John像一只癫狂又脆弱的小鹿，有着诗人般的浪漫和无尽的哀伤与喜悦。过去的种种时光，纵然潦倒憔悴，纵然惴惴不安，但它们仍能为人生漫漫长夜留下最璀璨的划痕。尽管生命注定消逝，尽管倒数的滴答声一直响彻脑海，还是要抓紧一切时间去生活去体会去感受。
可能是这类故事我真的看太多了，不管有多喜欢seasons of love，对这部的感受也只是一般【当然有的歌还是不错的】
放在电影里看是好看的音乐剧，放在音乐剧里看是好看的电影，即便能感觉到林聚聚还有加菲已经尽可能做出了最大的努力和尝试，但它仍然有点两头都不靠，这大概就是其尴尬之处吧。（但还是希望加菲今年能争取奥提！
最好玩的是那段去广告公司做研究小组赚外快。-I don’t understand how u can take any of this seriously. -because they pay me. -money isn’t everything. -Well it doesn’t hurt. -are u sure about that?
未必是最好的影片，却是当下最难得，最契合个人情绪状态的电影。同片中的主人公一样，在某项事业上投入了数年的时间精力，却没有得到任何回报，而身边所有美好的一切也一点点从自己生命中逝去。到底是再投入数年时间，还是退出这个行业另谋出路呢？我的人生又还有几个年头允许自己这么去挥霍消磨呢？
除了不喜欢大部分的音乐之外没有缺点。Sunday的cameo太棒了，说这部电影是音乐剧爱好者的复联Endgame不为过。今年的三十岁焦虑真多啊。
将歌舞成功嵌进了情节里，而不仅仅是停留在了简单的插入，人物情绪的展现更是非常丰满，充分把舞台的效果发挥出来，加菲的表演抓住了人物对梦想的坚持和对舞台的奉献，情绪的表达很到位，唱功也真的好。（8/10）
挺有意思的音乐片，剪辑蛮厉害的，原型太可惜，这么早就过世了，稍微晚点，活到中年可能会留下更多佳作。
Fear or Love…
bravo！21年年度十佳影片！影片展现出一个完全不同的加菲，通过双重视角，台上音乐剧式的内心独白和台下舞台剧式的人物发展，演化出一种独特但精准的视觉语言，拉森原作的配乐更是加分。90年代特有的对同性恋和艾滋的病态政治凝视在当今视角下看来更加讽刺。第三幕的钢琴独唱极为感人，相信一定是颁奖季的大热门！
