Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
脚本挺不错，前期铺垫有点长，“恍如梦境”的场景本应足够美轮美奂，呈现却并不十分惊艳，最后的五毛特效着实把我震惊了。三星全给剧本本身吧
希区柯克啦，库布里克啦，德帕尔马啦，波兰斯基啦，今敏啦，罗伊格啦……埃德加赖特拍出这么一部片子来宣布：“只要是你能想到的导演，我都不如他们。”
其他都好，就是结局太形而上。肯定是疫情惹的祸，太主旋律了，一派合家欢盛景。
总体还不错 我爱复古风 音乐很棒 故事讲得也还行 剪辑画面都不错
估计Edgar Wright的巅峰就是《僵尸肖恩》了，离开Simon Pegg后剧本水平一路下滑。其实拍完Baby Driver，他就应该转拍大厂行活，视听剪辑上的功夫还是秒灭James Gunn之类的。作为重度007粉丝，Edgar Wright再次在片中反复致敬，今年《无暇赴死》最后没选他执导，真是双方共同的遗憾。
恐男电影，剧本其实也就是九号秘事水平，视听语言是真不错。不过说实话，这部也太不埃德加赖特了，完全没了拍喜剧时候那些独特的视觉风格，好莱坞的制片模式对赖特来说是毒药啊...
真实/虚化的3（2）位女主角满是剥削，看似工具人的几个真实男性却满怀善意，女权红利彻底被赖特吃偏了。
题材很新颖，和《偷窥者》一样猜不到结局，被编剧带着走，非常有趣。

怎么说呢，影片在前面60年代追忆与梦境转换的闪光之后就开始慢慢步入下坡道路，女主和黑人男友都不甚讨喜，还不如看安雅跳两个小时恰恰舞。
抄了好多《未麻的部屋》的构思，今敏太惨了，你们就不能换个人抄吗？？
结尾的处理得扣分了，太潦草。其实相比性别议题，我看到的更多是导演埃德加赖特本人对这部影片的个人投射，很容易就想到几年前他被迫放弃执导《蚁人》，尽管他为那部电影的剧本投入大量的精力。本片里的Sandie同样在追逐梦想的道路上面临放弃自我，讨好恶魔的境地，像噩梦一样环绕在两个女主身边。我相信赖特依然对当初《蚁人》未能成行而耿耿于怀，这些年的魂牵梦绕，为《Soho区惊魂夜》提供了不少情感支撑。
确实不太行，埃德加赖特还是老老实实做喜剧吧
心猿意马，旨趣相拆。结局设计可厌近于可怖。
导演埃德加赖特把这部双女主B级惊悚片拍出了不一样的高级感。
从报警开始，剧情急转直下的，不过整体来看，片子还是太有趣了，算是年度惊喜。
也只有Edgar Wright能把女性意识觉醒的题材降维到僵尸惊悚悬疑片，到最后突然又有了那么一点波兰斯基怪房客的味道了，把时尚圈、女权和导演最喜欢的僵尸淋上电音与霓虹一起杂烩，想到这样的反转就更好笑了。
跟海市蜃楼、电话一样，女主以音乐为媒介，联系另一个时空。
从开头就若隐若现的吊诡气氛，让影片逐步进入惊悚中，但滥用的jumpscare又削弱了氛围塑造而只造成一惊一乍的恐怖效果；另外则是有些过于刻意的反转和只为反转的警察角色稍显僵硬（真正潜藏于细节并在最后一刻能够给观众带来震撼的反转依旧是科波拉的《对话》）
